Here is my card for the Flutter By Wednesday #81 challenge over at Danni's Dreams.  I used PTI Hibiscus burst for the card and PTI matching ribbon.  The other background paper is by by Crate Paper and is called

Cute little owl.......

Isn't this little owl just the cutest! Thought I'd work with some thank you cards since that is also what we'll be making in an upcoming class. Just love this little owl. It is a digi stamp and I colored her using my sharpies, and bics since I haven't sprung for copics yet. Hopefully I'll be able to post some more cards this week. Have a great day and thanks for taking a look. :)

It's been a while............

Hi Everyone,
Well I'm back. It seems I have been so busy lately with one thing and another that
I haven't had time to post anything or make any cards for my blog. I have been tinkering
around with some templates and came up with this little box today. Isn't it just the cutest. This may be the box we use to put our thank you cards in for my upcoming class. It won't look exactly like this, but I really like how this one turned out. So please leave a comment if you like this one too and would like to see it in the upcoming class.

An Autumn card and Two great little tools that I love

This is another card sketch that I just loved.  Had to give it a try and this is what I came up with.  Love the Penny Black stamps, they are just so cute!  Hope you like it!  This post is a little long because I did a little review on two of my new favorite tools.  Be looking for more cards this week.

I picked up these great little tools that are two of my favs at the moment from Claire at my local stamp store, Stamp & Deliver.

Tim Holtz's paper distressing tool by Tonic.  Love this thing

The distressing tool does a really nice job on the edges of your paper.  It makes your paper look very thick and gives a lot of depth to your card.

The second one is the Quickie glue pen by Sukura.  This pen  lays down a wonderful fine line of glue that you can add glitter, flower soft, or foil to.  It's a great little pen-- I love it.  Gets into all those tiny little hard to get to areas.  You've got to give them a try.

Where did the weekend go...........

I was looking at several blogs this weekend and found a wonderful one that belongs to Denise Marzec of The Paper Landscaper.  She has some terrific card ideas.  I loved the sketches she used.  I cased a few of them and this is one of them but my version.

She has several more wonderful cards on her site which I can't wait to try the sketches  for so keep watching for new cards this week. Thank you Denise for such wonderful inspiring cards!  Have a wonderful evening and like I said keep watching for more cards this week.
