This is soooo cute and soooo easy

Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a very nice Thanksgiving.  We did. :)  I just wanted to pop in and say hello and show the cutest little treat box you can make to hold anything you like for the holidays.  It only takes 3 sheets of  12 x 12 paper and works up so quickly.  I had bookmarked the  tutorial, but I got to see one up close at a scrapbook store and I flipped over it.  It was just so cute. If you would like to make one the instructions are found here.
Have fun and I'd love to hear what cool ideas you come up with to fill your little boxes!  Happy paper crafting and enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend.

Another muffin top

Isn't this just the cutest little penguin muffin top! I think the image is just adorable--it makes me want a cupcake. Mmmm-mmmm a devils food with white icing and sprinkles yummy!

Anyway just wanted to share my latest card with you. The image is from
Whimsie Doodles, the little evergreen punch and the snowflake punch are both from Martha Stewart. Ooooooo I got the cutest little cupcake stand at Walmart for $5 so cute! I had to get it because I knew they would be all gone the next time I went.

Okey-dokey that's all for now. My next card will be Thanksgiving...... I have to get busy on those...Have a good night.
Thanks for stopping by.

Peas on Earth

Isn't it the cutest little stamp! I love it! This is a free digi stamp that was offered on
the Whimsie Doodle board on  Paper Craft Planet's site. I just think it is adorable! So current with
everyone going Green, Earth friendly, and trying to eat more veggies!! Thank you Melyssa

Isn't it the cutest is right!!

This is so exciting!  Over at Pink Cat Studios, Melissa had a contest where you could suggest a digi stamp idea.
Well I suggested 2 penguins under the mistletoe and she used my idea!  I won the digi stamp and it is just the cutest!  Here is the card I made.  I was so nervous making a card for Melissa's blog  so I stuck with simple.
It was so much fun.   I love her digi stamps and saw several in her new releases I must have.  If you haven't tried them you should.  They're so cute and you get instant gratification in your email box!  I hope you like my card and the idea I suggested.  Check out Melissa's images.  They are just the cutest!  I saw a frog with a Santa hat that is a must have for me and several others too! There are loads off cute cards on her blog using the new images. Thanks Melissa for choosing my idea!

Little strawberry gift box.....

This is just too sweet.  This little strawberry sent me all over the place reading blogs to try to find the pattern and instructions.  I first  found it on the blog I was reading (love reading blogs..........people are just so clever and full of wonderful inspirational ideas)   " A Sticky Situation".   Joni  is a very clever lady and you can see her work here.
She didn't have the pattern at the moment so I went from blog to blog to blog and finally found it!  It is just the cutest little thing.  Well at least I think so.  You could fill them with candies like life savers, or kisses, or paper clips or anything that would fit inside.  I finally found the pattern and instructions on Mushi's Creative Inspirations.  which you can see here.  Thank you Michelle for the pattern and great ideas.  Just love 'em and plan to make more.  This was just my proto type (I sound like the mad professor :) saying that in my best Boris Karloff voice).  You could add rhinestones, or pearls or put it through your Cuttlebug with the dotted swiss folder. The ideas and sizes are endless.   Let me know what you come up with and I would love to see them and what you're putting inside. If you have any trouble finding the pattern from my links leave  a comment in the C Box to the right (be sure to put your email in--nobody else can see it) and I'll try to get you there.   Wouldn't these be soooooo cute on your Christmas tree filled with goodies. :)
Have a great day!
Nancy :)

So sweet!!

Well, here is the card I promised.  I thought I would have it up a lot sooner but waiting for glitter to dry and choosing different background papers takes me forever.  This stamp is just the cutest from Whimsie Doodles  and the background paper is by American Crafts.  Isn't it the sweetest.  So I hope this card makes you feel cooler (still with the cool theme.....not hot flashes just very warm weather for November)  and maybe a little hungry for cupcakes......I know I am.   In the next post I will be showing you the sweetest little strawberry that you can put goodies in.  It's just adorable so stay tuned.......
Thanks for taking a look.

A little cooler........finally.....

Well it's November 2 and we're finally getting some cooler weather. Yeah!!!!  We can turn off the air and open the windows...........I hope for quite a while, but we'll see.

I will be posting some more cards hopefully by Wednesday.  Got a new border punch today and I can't wait to try it out on a card and I have to get my samples made for my thank you note class.  Speaking of punches-- Oh my gosh have you seen the new huge punches by Martha Stewart.  They are humungous!   I think it would  be more for a scrapbook page.  I haven't seen anyone use them yet, but I'll keep my eyes open and let you know.

I think I'm going to run over and see Claire either tomorrow or Wednesday.  See what new goodies she has in and what's going on in the store.    I'll let you know what treasures I find.
Have a good evening and the next time I post there will be some cards  for you all to see.

Another cutie pie

As you can see I have cooler weather on my mind. I just love this little guy. It is another digital  stamp. This one is from Mo's Digital Pencil. It's called Winter Delivery. I just think
it's so cute! Used a combination of my markers and colored pencil for shading. The sp is from Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses. An EK success punch and a cuttlebug embossed piece of red cardstock. I used flower soft again for the snow. I just love the effect it gives. Hope you enjoyed taking a look.

Cute little owl.......

Isn't this little owl just the cutest! Thought I'd work with some thank you cards since that is also what we'll be making in an upcoming class. Just love this little owl. It is a digi stamp and I colored her using my sharpies, and bics since I haven't sprung for copics yet. Hopefully I'll be able to post some more cards this week. Have a great day and thanks for taking a look. :)

It's been a while............

Hi Everyone,
Well I'm back. It seems I have been so busy lately with one thing and another that
I haven't had time to post anything or make any cards for my blog. I have been tinkering
around with some templates and came up with this little box today. Isn't it just the cutest. This may be the box we use to put our thank you cards in for my upcoming class. It won't look exactly like this, but I really like how this one turned out. So please leave a comment if you like this one too and would like to see it in the upcoming class.

An Autumn card and Two great little tools that I love

This is another card sketch that I just loved.  Had to give it a try and this is what I came up with.  Love the Penny Black stamps, they are just so cute!  Hope you like it!  This post is a little long because I did a little review on two of my new favorite tools.  Be looking for more cards this week.

I picked up these great little tools that are two of my favs at the moment from Claire at my local stamp store, Stamp & Deliver.

Tim Holtz's paper distressing tool by Tonic.  Love this thing

The distressing tool does a really nice job on the edges of your paper.  It makes your paper look very thick and gives a lot of depth to your card.

The second one is the Quickie glue pen by Sukura.  This pen  lays down a wonderful fine line of glue that you can add glitter, flower soft, or foil to.  It's a great little pen-- I love it.  Gets into all those tiny little hard to get to areas.  You've got to give them a try.

Where did the weekend go...........

I was looking at several blogs this weekend and found a wonderful one that belongs to Denise Marzec of The Paper Landscaper.  She has some terrific card ideas.  I loved the sketches she used.  I cased a few of them and this is one of them but my version.

She has several more wonderful cards on her site which I can't wait to try the sketches  for so keep watching for new cards this week. Thank you Denise for such wonderful inspiring cards!  Have a wonderful evening and like I said keep watching for more cards this week.

Beautiful weather.....

Today is so beautiful.  The temp is in the high 70's and we can open the house up and let some fresh air in!  What a wonderful feeling!  Some relief from the heat.  It probably won't stick around for long,

but we might actually get to put on a hoodie and snuggle.  Yay!  The card for today I made for the SplitCoast Stamper Challenge.  I can't believe I've made cards for several days.  My muse must be hanging out in my craft room for a while.  That's a good thing as Marth would say. :)  I hope you like it!

NOT--Isn't It The Cutest

Well this card is far from the cutest.  It's pretty creepy................this is so not me.
I'm all about cute! Loved this raven stamp though and just watched a thing about Poe
                                                 KAZAN'S  Sketch #36

on Warehouse 13 and then there was a raven in Vampire Diaries.See the power of  suggestion tv has on us.  That must be where this creepy idea came creeping from.    It's kind of scaring me....  Ewwwwwwwwwwwwww  I promise my next cards will be cute!

Another little Goodie!

Hello, Just wanted to pop in to show you another cute little goodie you can make for someone special this Halloween.  I got the template from Nichole Heady's site last year to be used as Christmas Ornaments!  I thought how cute it would be as a little haunted birdhouse filled with candy or any other treasure you like!
I just think it is the cutest!  If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and please leave comments!
We all love comments.  Thanks for taking a look.    Oh...........and I heard a cold front is coming and it may get down in the mid to high 60's at night!  Yay!  Let's hope fall is arriving at last!

Halloween Basket and card

Isn't this just the cutest?  I just love the shape of this basket and have so many ideas floating around in my head for different designs and uses.  Can't wait to make a couple for Thanksgiving and Christmas!  It was so much fun to make. The template is by Lauren Meader and  can be purchased here.  Everything else I used can be purchased at Stamp & Deliver!  The spider brads, scrapbook paper:Doodlebug Designs and Nestibilities were used on the front of the basket for the focal point and the stamps are from Shirley's 2 girls.  I just think it is the cutest and can't wait to make several more. It's easy peasy :) What do you think?  The border was made with a MS punch(that's from Michaels)

Froggie shaker

Isn't this the cutest!  See I say it all the time.  Anyway this is a little shaker card I made for Halloween that I thought might get you in the Holiday spirit..............Ewwwwwww----eeeeeeeee-ewwwwwwww!  Hum that in your most eerie way! :)   So here it is .....one of my Halloween cards!  All the paper and supplies that I used for this can be purchased from Claire at Stamp & Deliver.  These little domes make shaker cards so easy because they have an adhesive on the back and  are slim enough to be mail able.  Cool!  Hope you like it.  Have a great day!

Sit Back Chillax and have a Cup of Tea

Hello and welcome to Isn't this the Cutest! I'm not very good at keeping up with my blog, but I hope to be able to do some card challenges and add my cards to my blog to share with you. I'm working on a few goodies for Halloween and will be posting them soon!

We're all getting a bit tired of the heat now and hoping to feel a bit of fall in the air, but summer just won't let go here in Florida. We're not asking for a lot, just temps in the low 80's during the day in the 70's at night. That's fall like for us. In fact the 70's are getting rather chilly for my family and we have to put on a sweater or sweatshirt. The Monarch butterflies are fluttering around the back yard and we're hoping to find some eggs and caterpillars on the milkweed very soon. I hope you'll be back to visit my blog and check out my cards and creations.
